L-Pak Kashira launched its second corrugator, doubling plant output of corrugated board.
Kashira-based corrugated food-packaging maker L-Pak Kashira commissioned its second corrugator — the launch became a major milestone for the plant and doubled site output.
The new Chinese-built machine features a 2.8-meter format, produces five-layer corrugated board and is equipped with a fold-feed section and a single-color printing unit.
“Thanks to the corrugator we will be able to create more than 20 jobs,” said Sergey Romanov, director of L-Pak's corrugating production.
The new line boosts the workforce — the plant will add over 20 jobs, and site output has doubled.
The company has no plans to stop there. Near-term plans include:
- installation of three processing lines;
- installation of one packaging line;
- expansion of the blank-storage buffer zone.
These projects will expand the product range and attract about 50 more employees.
Greater capacity meets growing demand for corrugated packaging from the food industry — corrugated board remains a key recyclable, circular-economy friendly packaging solution.
