Kirov-based food packaging maker Liton secured 55.7 million rubles of preferential leasing and will boost output by 220 million rubles a year.
Kirov-based food packaging maker Liton is expanding its production capacity and product range. To buy new equipment, the company attracted about 55.7 million rubles in preferential leasing under the SME Corporation program, the Kirov Region Government press service reported.
"The dairy packaging market is growing actively. The departure of major foreign players and the halt of raw material supplies from Europe became a catalyst for the entire polymer industry. Demand for our products is rising fast and will grow further once new equipment is launched," said Lyubov Guseva, founder and CEO of Liton.
According to the head, Liton products let customers minimize production costs thanks to low packaging prices, long shelf life for dairy products, low weight and convenient long-distance shipping.
The company has operated since 2002 and makes food packaging for dairy plants. The range includes:
- dairy film;
- milk cup;
- printed milk cup;
- polypropylene tape.
Products are shipped to dozens of Russian regions and exported to nearby countries.
The investment project is expected to let the company increase output by 220 million rubles a year. For comparison, Liton's 2025 revenue grew 30.5% to 747.9 million rubles, while average headcount rose to 64 employees in 2025.
The enterprise was registered in March 2013 with the main activity of producing plastic packaging products.
Preferential leasing is available at 6% per year for Russian equipment and 8% for foreign machinery. The program is part of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy", operated by SME Leasing, a subsidiary of the SME Corporation.
