The 33rd InterCHARM expo will show how AI designs peptides, bioengineering creates actives and packaging becomes refillable.
The 33rd International exhibition of the perfume and cosmetics industry InterCHARM 2026, to be held October 14-17 at Crocus Expo in Moscow, promises to be not just a show of new jars and fragrances, but an exhibition of technologies changing the very principle of creating and using cosmetics. Organizers announced key premieres — from AI molecule synthesis to refillable packaging.
One of the most ambitious developments is the PeptiGen platform by Albogen. AI is used here not for virtual makeup try-on, but to create new peptides and small molecules. The system combines machine learning, bioinformatics, medicinal chemistry and patent analysis: it selects promising molecules by given properties, which then undergo synthesis and experimental verification. The customer receives not only a computer prediction, but also samples, activity and safety data, plus recommendations on patenting and scaling.
"For beauty brands this is an opportunity to move from choosing an ingredient in a supplier catalog to creating their own active with commercial and patent potential," exhibition organizers note.
The biotech cluster will become a separate area of the exposition. Korea's XENOHELIX will present miPDRN with a molecular weight of 12 kDa, which the company calls the lowest molecular weight in the world, as well as plant exosomes. Russia's FERVERIKA will show fermented ingredients: lysates of beneficial bacteria, fungal polysaccharides, galactomycetes, kombucha and fermented oils.
Key areas of the 2026 expositions:
- AI development of cosmetic molecules and peptides
- Biotech actives: PDRN, exosomes, postbiotics
- Lyophilized cosmetics stored in a "sleeping" state
- Refillable REFILL packaging and monomaterials
- Home RF devices and professional lasers
Cosmetics learned to be stored in a "sleeping" state: Guangzhou Liyanzhuang Biotechnology will show lyophilized products for care and makeup. During lyophilization, water is removed from the formula at low temperature, and before use the product is combined with a liquid base. This format is especially important for components sensitive to water and long-term storage. The company holds 60 patents.
Packaging becomes an extension of the formula. MYC Packaging will present REFILL ME! refill systems, as well as packaging made of 100% aluminum, PET and polypropylene. Monomaterial structures are easier to prepare for recycling than multi-component ones. Russia's Eco Formula will show plastic monodoses and sealed ampoules for samples and single-use active compositions.
A separate block covers hardware premieres. Korea's Oligihome combines radiofrequency treatment, Hydro Glow ultrasound and Air Needle Shot in one home device. Premium Aesthetics announced the Stellar M22 platform and SPLENDOR X and iXtron Fractional lasers, JetOptic will show the RAUMA beam alexandrite laser, and Tereza Estetik — the Recell Ice microneedling device and HIFU systems.
AI has reached manicure: O NAIL will show a lamp that detects hand position and turns on LEDs only over the nails to speed up polymerization. Skin diagnostics will be brought into stores by Botavikos (an AI assistant for skin type) and Legacy (an analyzer of 20 indicators).
The main premieres of InterCHARM 2026 are united by the desire to make cosmetics more personalized, technological and convenient. In 2026, the real innovation is not a product with the most futuristic description, but a solution capable of convincingly demonstrating how it works in practice.
