The "Honest Sign" marking system will be integrated with the State Information System (EIS) "Procurement." The new permit-based regime, which is already in place in retail, will be extended to all government purchases, where gaps in oversight are often exploited.

The marking system "Honest Sign" will be integrated with the Unified Information System for Procurements (EIS "Procurements") of Russia’s Federal Treasury, deputy CEO of the Center for Development of Prospective Technologies (CDPT), Revaz Yusupov, reported at the "Digital Solutions" forum, as written by Kommersant.

The EIS "Procurements" system will issue either permission or prohibition for state institutions to acquire goods based on data received from the verification of marking codes in "Honest Sign." This integration is expected to increase the transparency of procurements and enhance the safety of supplied products.

The unification of these systems will allow for automatic product checks during government procurements and block expired, illegal, or potentially unsafe goods, Revaz Yusupov shared. According to him, this should prevent such goods from entering hospitals, schools, and kindergartens.

The permit-based regime is already operational in retail, where it prevents the sale of non-compliant goods at checkout. Now, it will also extend to government procurements, where control gaps are often exploited.

The project implementation is scheduled for 2026. Proposals and documents will be prepared in the near future.

Previously, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade proposed integrating the MTS GIS and EIS GIS systems for conducting government procurements of medical devices. Data about deliveries under government contracts will be automatically transmitted to the monitoring system, and for medical institutions purchasing goods for treatment, the process will be simplified.
