In the northeastern part of the capital, construction is nearing completion on new production facilities for AO "Svoboda." As Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry, Maxim Liksutov, reported, the project is being implemented with the assistance of the Moscow Fund for Support of Industry and Entrepreneurship.
"The development of high-tech production in the capital is a top priority set by Mayor Sergey Sobyanin. With the support of the city, the company 'Svoboda' is completing the construction of a complex with an area of over 23,500 square meters, where modern cosmetic products will be produced. Investments in the project amount to more than 2.1 billion rubles, including approximately 100 million rubles in additional funding. Thanks to preferential lending, the fund compensates for 50% of the Central Bank's key rate," Liksutov noted.
At the new facilities, production will be established for up to 400 product items — ranging from cosmetics and shampoos to hygiene products and soap. For this purpose, the enterprise is purchasing modern equipment and creating around 400 jobs.
"The company actively uses municipal support measures: since 2022, four agreements have been signed totaling 520 million rubles," said Minister of the Moscow Government Anatoly Garbuzov.
In total, over the past three years, more than 160 Moscow enterprises have attracted over 260 billion rubles in preferential loans for the modernization and development of production.
